Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Phlebotomy experience is required. Successful demonstration of laboratory skills is required. Working within a team environment, good interpersonal skills, effective time management and the ability to set priorities are necessary. Excellent communication skills both oral and written are required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable and flexible within an environment of change and interruptions.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of the Meditech LIS is also preferred.
