Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

You have excellent computer literacy and are familiar with Microsoft Office programs. Previous experience with healthcare information systems is an asset. Equally comfortable working independently and as part of a team, you can develop and maintain positive working relationships with your colleagues and other healthcare professionals you may interact with. You have good judgement and decision-making skills, and will conduct yourself according to the Alberta Health Services Code of Conduct and the APL values of Kindness, Inclusion, Innovation, Agility, and Accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent phlebotomy and specimen processing experience and knowledge of the Epic Beaker Laboratory Information System is preferred.
