Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent phlebotomy experience - within the last 2 years. Proficient with the English Language. Extensive walking, bending and standing is required for this job.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience with current LIS - Meditech or Connect Care. Phlebotomy experience in an acute care hospital facility. TDG certificate. WHMIS training. Ability to work rapidly with attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to work independently.
