Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Proficiency in data entry. Will be required to complete a keyboarding challenge to meet a minimum of 8500 gross keystrokes per hour with at least 90% accuracy. Demonstrated ability to communicate and respond to questions in a clear and professional manner. Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates a high standard of customer service by assessing and meeting the needs of internal and external stakeholders. Maintains a professional image and positive attitude while promoting an inclusive, and respectful work environment at all times. Ability to build positive working relationships and work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. Demonstrates personal leadership through change and promotes change initiatives. Ability to meet deadlines and benchmarks while consistently displaying a high level of attention to detail. Displays accountability for actions and learns from mistakes. Follows established policies and procedures to ensure the privacy and safety of customers, co-workers, and self. Any Canadian equivalency to English 30 or 33 or CLBA score of Benchmark 8 completed within the last 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant post-secondary education (E.g. Medical Office Assistant certificate). Previous data entry experience; experience within the last 6 months preferred. Healthcare or clinical laboratory experience with knowledge of laboratory tests delivered. Medical Terminology and knowledge of medical laboratory testing. Experience, courses or training in customer service and/or data entry. Demonstrated Microsoft Office computer skills.
