Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Terminology and knowledge of medical laboratory testing. Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite. Data entry proficiency. Any Canadian equivalency to English 30 or 33 or CLBA score of Benchmark 8 completed within the last 6 months.
Preferred Qualifications:Medical Office Assistant certificate or post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field. Experience in the healthcare industry. Knowledge of the Laboratory Information System. Courses or certificates in communication, personal leadership, customer service, process improvement or change management.
