Completion of an accredited program in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT). Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA) or the Alberta Collect of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum three (3) – five (5) years current experience working in a clinical laboratory setting. Minimum of three (3) years recent (within the last 5 years) experience working in a rural or regional laboratory. Minimum of three (3) years' experience delivering training to staff and/or students.
Preferred Qualifications:Formal preceptor training certificate. Formal education in Adult Learning. Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science BSc (MLS) or related field. Formal certificate in Project Management. Recent (within the last 5 years) experience in a leadership role. Formal certificate in health and safety or laboratory safety.
