Minimum of Grade 12 education. A valid class 5 driver's license. A clean 3 year driver's abstract completed within the last 2 months must be included with your application.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Ability to lift and/or carry 10-20 pounds on an occasional basis (25 to 50% of shift); and > 20 lbs on a seldom basis (up to 25% of the shift). Able to interact positively with external and internal clients. Able to deal with stressful situations in a calm and professional manner. Ability to take direction from and communicate effectively with Courier Dispatcher. Ability to solve problems independently. Ability to work independently in a team environment. Demonstrated exemplary customer service, communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent courier experience. Good knowledge of Medicine Hat and Southern Alberta. Knowledge of TDG in relation to transport of bio hazardous materials; TDG training will be provided by APL. Knowledge of WHMIS.
