Three (3) years current experience working in document management processes, quality management systems and information technology related to electronic document management systems. Knowledge and experience in the use of document management systems (e.g. SoftTech DMS and/or Paradigm) and web communication processes. Completion of a recognized office, business administration or medical office assistant program or equivalent experience related to document management and control and information technology.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Excellent keyboarding, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio skills required. Experience in leading projects, change management and process improvement skills. Demonstrated abilities in the development, review, and revision of documents. Minimum one (1) experience working within a healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of a medical terminology course would be considered an asset. Demonstration of the ability and willingness to work independently as well as in a team environment while promoting a positive work attitude. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and proven time management skills would also be considered an asset.
