Completion of Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology or completion of Environmental Technology Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualifications.
Additional Required Qualifications:BSc in Medical Laboratory Science or Graduate of a recognized school of Medical Laboratory Technology. Technical knowledge of appropriate methodology and testing techniques applied in a large Microbiology Laboratory. Proven interpersonal skills for dealing with people in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with the Cerner Millennium Information System. One to two years of experience within the past five years in a Diagnostic or Public Health Laboratory preferred.
