The successful candidate shall have a PhD in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science with previous experience in clinical immunology and/or genetics. Candidates must be certified (or eligible) by the American College of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ACHI or ABHI). Be credentialed (or eligible) by the American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) as a Laboratory Director in the following areas of accreditation: Solid Organ Transplantation: Live Donor. Solid Organ Transplantation: Deceased Donor. Hematopoietic Stem Cell/Bone Marrow Transplantation: Related Donor. Hematopoietic Stem Cell/Bone Marrow Transplantation: Unrelated Donor. Histocompatibility Testing for Other Clinical Purposes.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be able to demonstrate: Effective communication, experience in quality assurance, operational efficiency and appropriateness of care. Ability to work in a dynamic, changing environment that allows for delivery of quality service. Ability to balance service and quality imperative in a resource-sensitive environment; and Ability to work collaboratively, building trust in working relationships as an overall team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated relevant clinical and academic experience.
