Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Equivalancies may be considered. Cardiology training and experience including ECG's and Holter Monitors. All blood collection procedures including: venipuncture, micropunctures, blood culture collections as well as collections on all patient ages including newborns, pediatrics and geriatrics. Recent macro and micro urinalysis experience. Valid Class 5, non-GDL Drivers License.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiar with Clinitek Advantus. Recent experience with Muse and Cardioday. Recent and relevant experience with Meditech. Current registration with CSMLS. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Good organizational skills and ability to assume responsibility. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and promote teamwork.
