Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:The ability to recognize testing/procedural anomalies and act appropriately to resolve these is required. Must have the ability to operate Windows based computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a Chemistry Laboratory is strongly preferred. Experience in a Clinical Laboratory environment and knowledge of the Epic Beaker laboratory information system. Successful demonstration of laboratory skills and data entry. Experience in inventory control, equipment maintenance and specimen handling is preferred.
