Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience and competency in phlebotomy techniques within the last year. Recent and relevant experience in a hospital setting within the last 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications:MLA RRL Accession experience with hospital information system. Phlebotomy experience in a hospital, within the last three years preferred. Experience in neonatal skin puncture. Experience in pediatric and/or neonatal venipuncture. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Outlook Web Access. Courses or certificates in personal leadership development. Courses or training in process improvement or change management.
