Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.

Recent MLA experience in an urban RRL setting. Technical MLA experience in Transfusion Medicine, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Clinical Microscopy and/or Molecular Microbiology. Experience with blood product manipulation, bone marrow biopsies, equipment maintenance, and/or automated instrumentation troubleshooting. Completion of TM Laboratory Assistant Module or equivalent. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Millennium. Personal Leadership and Change Management courses/certificates.
