Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous experience with quality control/quality assurance activities, including but not limited to equipment maintenance, regular SOP review and updating, inventory supply management.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous MLA or MLT experience in Anatomic Pathology or Flow Cytometry is highly preferred. Familiar with common Pathology reagents and specimen acceptance guidelines. Previous experience with Renal or Neuro sub-specialty groups (in an MLA capacity: receiving, accessioning and triaging samples). Previous experience with research or with validation procedures.
