Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proficiency in data entry. Competency in phlebotomy. May be required to pass a phlebotomy skills challenge to the satisfaction of APL. Prolonged standing, walking and bending is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Phlebotomy experience in a hospital, within the last year. Experience in neonatal skin puncture. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs and Outlook 365. Experience with Cerner Connect Care (Hyperspace/Rover). Courses or certificates in personal leadership development. Courses or training in process improvement or change management. Able to lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing more than 20lbs. Prolonged standing, walking and bending is required. National certification with CSMLS.
