Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous customer service experience. Advanced communication skills and abilities. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with people in a team-orientated environment. Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, planning and decision making skills. Must have good manual dexterity for manipulation of samples. Strong data entry skills. Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction. Flexible schedule availability.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of WHMIS and SDS. Proficient in Microsoft Office and EPIC Beaker Laboratory Information System. Strong keyboarding skills. Has interpersonal skills for dealing with people in a team-oriented environment. Experience with processing various water sources for bacteriological content.
