Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.

Completion of an Accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or in its absence, experience will be considered. Experience performing macroscopic and microscopic urinalysis testing. Strong Phlebotomy skills. Proven interpersonal oral and written communications skills are required. Excellent public relations and a service-oriented manner are essential. Must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with patients/clients, families, staff, Interdisciplinary team members, personnel from other departments, and leadership in a fast-paced, and changing environment. Proven analytic and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, logical/methodical work habits, and demonstrated ability to work independently are required. Candidate must be well organized and flexible. Must participate in continual Professional Development. Must be able to represent Laboratory Medicine in a respectful, professional and courteous manner.

Experience in the past two years: Work in Healthcare facility. Phlebotomy, venipuncture and micropuncture. Connect Care. Maintenance on: Clinitek Status, Centrifuges. Cleaning the fridges and freezers.
