Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience in accessioning/pre-analytics department. Excellent typing and database entry abilities (both speed and accuracy). Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of programs. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently. Superior organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize work and deliver accurate work under stressful conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 1 year experience in accessioning/pre-analytics preferred. Experience with handling and packaging samples for external send-out. TDG with air training is an asset. Experience with Connect Care Beaker is preferred. Experience with Teams, Sharepoint and the internet is an asset.
