Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Medical Laboratory Assistant certificate or Medical Laboratory Technologist diploma and/or student currently taking MLT diploma program from an educational institute within Canada satisfactory to APL or MLA certification through CSMLS. Proficiency in data entry. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs. Working knowledge of Connect Care. Any Canadian equivalency to English 30 or 33.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent experience within the past year in an Urban or Hospital RRL setting. Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instruments and equipment. Experience in technical lab. Working knowledge of Flu/Covid testing is an asset. Courses/certificates in personal leadership development. Courses/training in process improvement or change management. Ability to work in a multi-disciplined/skilled environment with minimal supervision.
