Relevant University degree or Advanced Registered Technologist (ART) designation. Equivalent qualifications and experience will be considered. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare in a leadership or management role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Intermediate/advanced understanding of quality management systems, patient safety, workplace health and safety, and laboratory accreditation requirements for a clinical laboratory. Proven leadership skills including team building, conflict resolution, written and verbal communication, and facilitation skills. Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast paced and changing environment. Solution oriented with a focus on exercising sound judgment to creatively resolve issues.
