Bachelor or Master of Science degree with a focus in Molecular or Cellular Biology
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in hematology or a specialized hematology department (eg. Flow Cytometry, Special Coagulation, Molecular Hematology).
Preferred Qualifications:Equivalencies of education (eg. MLT Program) may be considered in lieu of degree program. Advanced knowledge of hematology, CD nomenclature, & hematopoietic disorders, cell differentiation, morphology, and physiology of leukocytes human cell biology. Experience with flow cytometers. Experience in interpretive reporting. Current or recent (within last 2 years) hematology experience. Experience in a clinical lab setting.
