Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in an RRL. Greater than 2 years within 5 preferred. Experience in Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Chemistry, and Molecular Microbiology. Greater than 2 years within 5 preferred. Experience operating, maintaining and performing troubleshooting on current instrumentation and middleware in each lab area. Experience with bone marrow collection and proficiency in manual differentials. Working knowledge of Cerner Millennium. Leadership, process improvement or change management courses.
