Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate of a recognized school of Medical Laboratory Technology or Science required with evidence of appropriate certification from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Sciences. College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA) registration with a current CMLTA practice permit. Security Level III clearance and ability to work in a Containment Level III Laboratory.
Preferred Qualifications:One to two years of experience within the last five years in a Diagnostic or Public Health Microbiology Laboratory. Experience with the Cerner Millennium Laboratory Information System
