Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 1 year experience within the last 5 years running IL Top coagulation analyzers.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in performing and interpreting Thrombophilia and Hemostasis Investigations (eg. Protein C & S, Lupus Anticoagulant, Factor assays, and Platelet aggregation studies). Advanced knowledge of Hemostasis and Thrombophilia applicable to specialized coagulation. Experience in a complex high volume workload setting.
