Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA). In addition to MLT applicants, CLXT applicants are also welcome to apply. Applicants must have completed of an accredited CLXT program and be registered or eligible for registration with the Alberta College Of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT). Ability to operate technical instruments and equipment on a daily basis, assisting with equipment maintenance. Performing all required Quality Control procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Investigating and documenting Quality Control problems and following up with Charge Technologist.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous MLT experience will be preferred. Familiarity with Connect Care and Well Sky.
