Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).

RRL experience in the last 3 years. Working knowledge of Millennium & Microsoft Office. Proficiency in reading manual differentials. Effective verbal & written communication skills. At least 2 years’ experience with operation/maintenance/troubleshooting current instrumentation/middleware in Hematology, Chemistry, & TM within 5 years. Recent experience & competency on multiple benches, departments, & shifts; performing all applicable workflows/tasks /duties relevant to respective shifts. Experience with bone marrow collections, Preceptor/Training, GeneXpert and/or Beaker/WellSky. Courses/certificates in personal leadership, process improvement, and/or change management.
