Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience in a clinical lab setting. Understanding of principles of flow cytometry, Immunology, hematology, and transplantation.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a medical Flow Cytometry laboratory within the last 5 years, or current or recent (within last 2 years) experience in a Hematology laboratory. Advanced knowledge of biology, hematopoietic disorders, CD nomenclature, hematopoietic cell differentiation, morphology, and physiology of leukocytes human cell biology. Operation of flow cytometer. Experience with Beckman Coulter flow cytometer. Experience with Epic Connect Care.
