Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Successful candidate must be fully trained and have experience in either, or a combination, of: Renal pathology, Neuropathology, and/or Electron Microscopy departments. Experience with renal collections is an asset but will not be weighted alone without full training in Renals.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with renal biopsy collection (bedside renal biopsy assessment) is an asset but does not replace the requirement of training and competence in the Renal department. Previous experience with manual special stains, cutting frozen sections, and other specialized histological methods/procedures.
