As a Medical Laboratory Technologist I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis, troubleshooting and reporting of diagnostic samples within the core laboratory and transfusion medicine departments.
Description:
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience with Epic Beaker Laboratory Information Systems is required. Recent experience with the Sysmex XN9100, Sysmex Cellavision DM1200, ACL Top 350, Roche Cobas Pro Systems (ISE, c503, e801), Osmometer, Siemens Clinitek Advantus is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with GeneXpert, Ortho Swift, Ortho Optix and Wellsky is preferred. Experience with Infinity for Roche Cobas Pro, Caresphere for Sysmex, and Unity Real Time (QC) is an asset.
