As a Medical Laboratory Technologist I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis, troubleshooting and reporting of diagnostic samples within the core laboratory.
Description:
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience with Epic Beaker Laboratory Information Systems is required. Recent experience with the Sysmex XNL550, ACL Top 350, Beckman Access2, Vitros XT3400, Osmometer, Abbott iSTAT, Siemens Clinitek Advantus is required. Experience with manual testing methods is an asset. Experience with Wellsky is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a STAT lab and ability to work independently in fast paced environment. The successful candidate must have strong technical, communication and troubleshooting skills when working alone and/or as part of a laboratory team.
