Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience in the last year with Phlebotomy.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the last year with the following analyzers: XT3400, Access2, Sysmex and Caresphere, Clinitek, ACL coagulation analyzers. Experience with Wellsky, EPIC, and Microsoft applications are an asset. The successful candidate understands and maintains a working knowledge of analytical techniques and demonstrates excellent problem solving, decision making and trouble-shooting skills. Must be approachable and reliable. Able to display communication and interpersonal skills.
