Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:As required.
Preferred Qualifications:2 to 3 years relevant knowledge and experience in Histology as a Medical Laboratory Technologist a benefit. Specialized knowledge and experience in Laboratory Information Systems applications such as EPIC. Effective time management, strong organizational skills, excellent problem solving, decision making, troubleshooting and communication skills are required. Ability to prioritize successfully in a demanding environment is essential.
