Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Rapid Response Lab, or Hematology, Chemistry or Transfusion Medicine, within the last 2 years. Working knowledge of Connect Care Beaker. Working knowledge of WellSky LIS. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a pediatric setting. Experience & competency on multiple benches, including Chemistry, Hematology and Transfusion Medicine. Courses or certificates in personal leadership, process improvement, and/or change management. Preceptor or trainer experience. Experience with Bone Marrow collections. Experience in collection and testing of Sweat Chlorides.
