Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience (within the last 2-3 years) in Microbiology in a medium sized clinical laboratory. Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills exhibiting APL values.
Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge and experience with Epic Beaker and Microbiology instrumentation. Proven analytic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work rapidly with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in stressful situations. Logical/methodical work habits and demonstrated ability to work independently.
