Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:One to two years of recent Bacteriology experience within the past 5 years in a Public Health Laboratory.
Preferred Qualifications:One to two years of experience operating molecular/NAT instruments. Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Knowledgeable with the Human Pathogen and Toxins Act (HPTA). Experience with the Beaker Laboratory Information System.
