Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent, relevant experience in Chemistry, Hematology and Coagulation. Proven excellence in performing Transfusion Medicine (theory and recent experience) is required. Recent experience in urinalysis including macroscopic and microscopic analysis. Recent experience in phlebotomy is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 2 years' experience in a core lab. Connect Care, WellSky and unity real time experience an asset. Experience with Vitros XT 3400, DXH 600, ACL TOPS, Access 2, I-Stat, Clinitek Advantus, Triage Meter, Gel IAT transfusion medicine, ECGs and Muse.
