Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience (within the last 1-3 years) in Hematology and TM, in a medium sized testing facility. Comprehensive TM testing including type & screen, antibody investigations, autoantibody investigations, red cell typing, pre & post natal testing, as well as appropriate selection & dispensing of blood and blood products. Complex hematology processing including assisting with bone marrow collection, sample processing & differential, CSF/body fluid, semen analysis & malaria investigation.
