Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience with the Epic Beaker laboratory information system. Experience operating, maintaining and troubleshooting the following specialized equipment: ICP-MS, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, GC, and HPLC. Experience with Windows based computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications:Current experience working in a Clinical Toxicology and Trace Elements laboratory, with experience in manual extractions. Recent experience in a large, complex facility. Knowledge of quality systems, quality control theory and application.
