Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the last 5 years in a clinical laboratory setting, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Minimum two (2) years’ experience within the last 5 years in document management processes and use of electronic document management software. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the development, review and revision of policies, processes, or procedures. Minimum two (2) years’ experience with, and intermediate knowledge of, MS Office suite of applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams). Recent (within the last 5 years) experience facilitating meetings and engaging with stakeholders. Recent (within the last 5 years) experience leading or participating in change management and project management.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulations and experience in their interpretation and application. Experience in accreditation processes, including pre- and post-assessment activities. Formal certificate in QMS, Process Improvement (e.g., AIW Green Belt), Change Management (e.g., ProSCI), and/or Project Management. Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.
