A minimum of 5 years of progressive health care administration experience and systems knowledge required. Successful completion of post-secondary education in area(s) of Management, Health Care Administration, Human Resources or Business Administration at a minimum Bachelor Degree level. Equivalences of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Strong Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, particularly with respect to financial analysis. Effective interpersonal communication skills. Database experience, ideally utilizing Access. Ability to maintain a professional level of diplomacy, confidentiality and tact. Highly self-directed and motivated. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective communicator with strong organization, collaboration, and influencer skills, client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Understanding of the clinical environment in which APL operates. Must be flexible and able to determine priorities given wide scope of responsibilities. Ideally, the candidate will have experience managing contracts and/or managing physician recruitment and privileging processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters in Health services Administration, Business or other equivalent preparation/combination of education/experience preferred. Experience working with physicians, managing contracts and/or managing physician recruitment and privileging processes.
