Minimum three years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role. Criminal Record Check, satisfactory to APL. Relevant experience in the healthcare sector. Proven ability to achieve goals by overcoming difficult obstacles, identifying and following through on solutions. Demonstrated understanding of organizational strategies, ability to frame strategic questions and develop action plans. Ability to actively engage a team to develop plans and resolve issues with collaborative problem solving. Established ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely to explain information in a well thought out, logical and effective manner. Excellent organizational skills and ability to complete tasks accurately within a varied, dynamic and multi-tasked environment. Highly motivated and capable of seeing projects through from beginning to end.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:MLT Experience or MLA experience as applicable. An MLT must maintain current good standing with the regulatory body (CMLTA). Leadership, conflict resolution and/or change management degree/certificate. Experience in a unionized environment. Advanced certification in the clinical specialty or post-secondary education in related field. Experience with Clinical Microbiology.
