Relevant undergraduate degree in a related field (healthcare profession, business, etc.) and/or Registered Medical Technologist designation with registration with the CSMLS. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. A minimum of 3-5 years healthcare leadership experience in a health care organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of progressive professional and personal development. Experience and knowledge of working in a clinical laboratory setting. Experience and knowledge of Acute Care and Community/Rural laboratory settings. Understanding of Payroll, e-People processing and Recruitment Management System.

Previous Medical Laboratory Technologist II experience in a Rural Clinical Laboratory Setting. Recent experience with Epic Beaker LIS. Understanding of quality management systems. Demonstrated ability and comfort with; decision making, coaching, teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated knowledge of change management and creating innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues.
