Your Opportunity:
The DSC AP Clerical team is looking for an experienced and qualified administrative support to join our team for a 12-month period. Tasks and duties include: receiving and delivering pathology cases (slides) to pathologists; receiving and completing requests for consultations and additional testing; tracking, filing and retrieving pathology material (blocks and slides, paperwork); timekeeping; and other clerical and administrative duties as required.

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Due to the physical nature of some duties, applicant must be able to lift up to 10lbs (trays of slides, boxes of slides or blocks in storage), and must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time. Educational requirements include courses or program in Medical Office Assistant or equivalent. Previous administrative experience (preference given to applicants with previous Anatomic Pathology experience). Knowledge and experience of Epic, preferably AP Beaker.
